Frederick Bowes, III (Rick)
After a long and successful career in the publishing industry during which he led several pioneering digital/electronic publishing activities including in 1983 producing the first major scientific journal to go online concurrently with its print release. For the last decade he has focused his consultancy on leveraging the potential of digital technologies to provide new opportunities for people with print-related disabilities.
Rick frequently collaborates with TECH FOR ALL, Inc. (TFA) a leading accessibility technology consulting firm headed by Caesar Eghtesadi, PhD, an accessibility pioneer and highly regarded international consultant. Rick serves as Executive Consultant playing three key roles:
(1) Providing accessibility-related strategy consulting services for clients’ project/program managers, (2) Contributes subject matter expertise for publishing technology-related engagements, and (3) develops and manages the business side of TFA’s client relationships.
